Every story follows the same transparent path from ingestion to explanation — and every step of it can be challenged. This is the pipeline, its limits, and how to hold it to account.
The pipeline
Five steps, identical for every story. No exceptions, no editorial fast lane.
Ingestion
Monitoring of news outlets and official feeds — parliaments, central banks, statistics offices.
Corroboration
Stories are matched across independent sources. Single-source claims are held to a higher bar and labelled.
Scoring
Factuality and sensationalism scores shape presentation — calm cards, no urgency theatre. Never suppression.
Primary sources
Policy cards link to the legal text and voting record; statistics link to the issuing office. Check us.
Dispute loop
Every card has a dispute button. Reviewing disputes and publishing corrections is still being built.
